Viewfinder Characters

Six names show up often enough to table. There are no official biographies, so the roles below are read from hub names and dialogue summaries.

Cait is the only figure you interact with as a body: a cat-shaped AI you can pet, photograph, and fail to photocopy. The “No copycaits!” achievement is that failed duplicate in the first camera room. Jessie never appears as a model in the walkthroughs I used. Jessie is the voice that stays on the line and, at the end, asks about the plant. I do not assign Cait a gender. Sources that describe the cat do not agree on pronouns in a way I can settle, so the table uses the name alone.

Aharon, Hiraya, Chi Leung, and Mirren are the station names and, by the plot summary, the researchers whose work you walk through. Aharon’s hub is the tutorial and the first glitch. Hiraya’s is cameras and alignment. Chi Leung’s is the instant camera. Mirren led the climate experiment; the Weather Disrupter in her late rooms fails. I will not add a player-character name. None is printed. I will not add a portrait gallery. No official portraits were in the press material I could use, so the pictures on this page are environments.

Can you pet the cat?

Yes. The achievement is “Pet the cait.”, first available around Chapter 1 Level 2.1.
