Viewfinder on PS5

The PlayStation page lists $24.99 for PS5 and PS4. No boxed copy showed up in the store or in a retailer search on 31 Oct 2026.

Release on PS5 is 18 July 2023, the same day as Windows. The PS4 row is the conflict: Wikipedia dates that version 12 December 2023, and the combined product page shows 18 July 2023. I keep December for a PS4-specific sentence and July for PS5. The page lists twelve screen languages. Cloud streaming on PS5 and on PS Portal needs PlayStation Plus Premium. That is a streaming entitlement, not a statement that the game sits in the Game Catalog forever.

PlayStation Plus: it was a monthly game from 2 September 2025 for both PS4 and PS5. The dated PlayStation Blog announcement and GameSpot’s contemporary report corroborate the September claim window. Monthly games leave the claim window. I did not find a Game Catalog listing that would make it free every month after that, so I will not call it a permanent Plus title. Claimed monthly games require an active PlayStation Plus membership to play; this does not grant a free claim to a new subscriber today.

A PS5 demo SKU exists on the PlayStation Store, including a Japan listing, and the studio site links a demo. I will not promise a current Steam demo; the Next Fest build from June 2023 may be gone. Trophies: the Steam, Epic, and Xbox lists are 46. Exophase and PlayStation Mania both enumerate 46 PS5 trophies, including one platinum. PlayStation Mania splits them into 36 bronze, five silver, four gold and one platinum. Viewfound is the platinum for unlocking all trophies; on Steam, Viewfound is instead the story-completion achievement. Achievement descriptions that do transfer are on the achievement guide. The store link is PlayStation’s page. No frame-rate spec for PS5 was found, so I do not write 60 fps here.
