Viewfinder Chapter 3 Level 4.3

Level 4.3 is a main Chi Leung room. A timer pad powers an upside-down teleporter. It is not optional, and it has no collectible.

Some guides write this room as “4-3” or “4,3”. I treat those as the same search, and I use 4.3 because that is the label on the IGN page and the style of the official patch notes. The room is not one of the optional 6.x illusions. You are still in the timer-and-power-line stretch that starts at 4.1.

The camera can preserve the state of a timer, not just the shape of the room.

First make the upside-down pad usable, then capture the charged setup.

Solution

Photograph the teleporter and the timer together, then rotate that photo until the foot pad sits on the floor instead of the ceiling. Stand on the pad long enough for the timer to charge, and photograph the setup again while it is charged. Place the new photo and step into the teleporter before the charge runs out. Fandom’s one-line version — teleporter on the platform above, picture from below, align it, use the exit — is the same trick with fewer words. GamesRadar describes the same race.

If the timer is already ticking when you place the photo, you do not get a second puzzle; you just have less time to walk. Rewind is still available from Chapter 1, so a bad rotation is cheaper than a wrong route. There is no mahjong tile in this room. Tile 6 is next door in spirit, on 4.2 beside the Loggagraph, and the rest of the set is on the mahjong page. The next numbered room, 4.4, swaps the timer race for a canvas wall.
