Level 2.3 is a main Mirren room. The teleporter sits behind a cage and a violet wall that the camera cannot shoot through, except via the telescope.

Searches typed “4 23” or “4.23” land here because the suggestion list also offers “chapter 4 level 2.3”. I read 4 23 as chapter 4, level 2.3, and I say that reading out loud so a “level 23” theory does not sneak in. The room is not optional. Neptune is on 2.2 and Pluto is on 2.4; 2.3 itself has no planet in the GameRant list.

The telescope provides the view you need to photograph the platform beyond the obstruction.

Telescope and violet wall

Go left through the opening that faces the cage, come back, and photograph the wall that looks toward the teleporter platform. The telescope is what lets that photo see through the violet infection; intoindiegames describes that tool, and IGN describes the same one-photo result. Place the photo on the ledge, jump onto it, flip the lever, and take the teleporter. Fandom’s shorter line — use the photo against the cage — agrees that you only need one picture.

If your 2.3 has a speaker

GamesRadar’s “2-3” is a sound-sensor room: a speaker and a switch. That is a different puzzle under a shifted index, not a second solution for the telescope. I do not paste the speaker steps onto this page. The sound stretch on the in-game numbering is 6.1 through 6.6, indexed from the named-puzzle list. No. The first optional challenge in Chapter 4 is Level 3.1.

Where is the hint without the full answer?

Look through the telescope at the violet wall and place a single photo on the ledge. The lever is on the far side.
